Advances in Diagnosis & Management
In recent years, significant progress has been made in understanding the underlying mechanisms, diagnosis, and management of OA, leading to potential therapeutic advancements that go beyond symptom management to address the root causes of joint degeneration.
MSCs in Cell-Based Therapy
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have emerged as a prominent area of research in cell-based therapies for OA. They are extensively studied due to their ability to differentiate into chondrocytes, the cells responsible for cartilage formation, and their immunomodulatory properties.
Cartilage Regeneration Potential
MSCs hold the potential to enhance cartilage regeneration and contribute to the restoration of healthier joints. Their unique immunomodulatory and regenerative capabilities make them one of the most promising therapeutic tools available for long-term OA management and joint health restoration.
